Victorian Supercars Championship squad Team 18 will open its doors to the public for their second annual Family Open Day at their Mount Waverley race centre on Sunday 19 November, a week out from the season-ending VAILO Adelaide 500.
The team’s main-game drivers Mark Winterbottom and Scott Pye will both be in attendance to meet and greet with the public, with autographs and photograph opportunities throughout the day.
Fans will also have the chance to check out Winterbottom’s #18 DEWALT Racing and Pye’s #20 Toyota Forklifts Camaros in the flesh before they are loaded up and on their way to Adelaide.
The team will offer up the chance to purchase a range of team merchandise and memorabilia, plus crash-damaged panels up for grabs.
Workshop tours will also be offered throughout the day for the public.
Fans can also view the 2010 Supercars Championship winning Ford Falcon, owned by Charlie Schwerkolt in the team’s showroom.
The open day will also feature a entry raffles with major prizes, as well as a jumping castle, food and coffee vans, plus a wheel change activation for fans to test their skills at a pit stop wheel change.
A host of team partners will be on site, as well as a display from the HSV Owners Club of Victoria.
Last year the team welcomed over 350 fans through the gates, and this year promises to be another great day of entertainment for the whole family.
The Team 18 Family Open Day will take place from 11am to 2pm on Sunday, November 19 at their race centre located at 3/21 Lionel Road, Mount Waverley, with free entry to all guests.
