JAX Tyres & Auto has unveiled its 2026 special edition pink racing helmet, which Supercars champion David Reynolds will wear at the upcoming Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 from 23-25 October.

Now in its fourth year, the pink helmet auction is part of JAX Tyres & Auto’s ongoing support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and its partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), supporting its vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

Designed and hand-painted by leading artist Trent Rogers of 6Star Custom Paint, the one-of-a-kind helmet will take to the track with Reynolds before being auctioned to raise funds for breast cancer research.

JAX Tyres & Auto will also be running its broader, ‘Put a Cap on Breast Cancer’, campaign across its national store network until the end of October. Customers can make a donation in exchange for pink tyre valve caps, with 20,000 caps available to represent the approximate 20,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia each year.

Together, the campaigns raised $26,629 last year, bringing the total raised since JAX Tyres & Auto and NBCF launched the initiatives to $96,647.

JAX Tyres & Auto team members will further show their support throughout October, with front-of-house team members wearing pink T-shirts every Friday across the network to encourage customers to get behind the important cause. Team18 will also wear pink T-shirts during the set-up and pack-down of the garage at the Bathurst 1000 and Gold Coast 500.

April Harwood, Chief Franchising Operations Officer at JAX Tyres & Auto, said, “We’re proud to bring the pink helmet back for another year and continue our support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. It’s a great way to combine our passion for motorsport with a cause that has a real impact on so many Australians. It’s fantastic to see our team and customers getting behind the campaign each year and helping raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.”

Penny Waitsman, General Manager Philanthropy and Partnerships at the National Breast Cancer Foundation, said, “We’re incredibly grateful for the six years of continued partnership support of JAX Tyres & Auto. Initiatives like the Pink Helmet and ‘Put a Cap on Breast Cancer’ campaign help raise vital funds to support our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.”

David Reynolds said, “Breast cancer affects so many families, so I’m proud to once again be part of this campaign with JAX Tyres & Auto and the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Hopefully we can raise plenty of funds through the helmet auction and support the important work being done in breast cancer research.”

Trent Rogers of 6Star Custom Paint and designer of the helmet, said: “It’s been a privilege to design and paint Dave’s pink helmet in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We wanted to capture the spirit of the Gold Coast, incorporating the iconic palm trees and ocean into the design, while keeping the pink theme front and centre to represent such an important cause. It’s a special project to be involved in, and hopefully the helmet not only stands out on track but also helps raise awareness and valuable funds for breast cancer research.”

Fully race-prepared and worn by Reynolds throughout the Gold Coast 500 weekend, the helmet will be auctioned following the event, giving fans and collectors the opportunity to own a unique piece of Supercars history, while supporting breast cancer research.

The auction will be hosted by Lloyds Auctions, with 100 per cent of proceeds donated directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Click here for the auction link.
