Team 18 have revealed Scott Pye’s #20 bp Ultimate Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Supercar, set to hit the track at the OTR SuperSprint this weekend, 18-20 August, at The Bend Motorsport Park.
Pye’s Camaro sports a striking new look with major support from bp Ultimate, the official fuel supplier of the Repco Supercars Championship.
The new colours were unveiled in stunning fashion at The D’Arenberg Cube, a five-story high cube-shaped building that is the centrepiece of the D’Arenberg Winery which has become a tourism hotspot in Adelaide’s famous McLaren Vale wine region.
This season marks a groundbreaking partnership between the Supercars Championship and bp, as they introduced the revolutionary bp E75 Racing Fuel, a lower carbon* fuel that incorporates over 80% second-generation components sourced from renewable feedstocks.
The #20 bp Ultimate Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Supercar’s distinctive livery draws inspiration from the iconic colours of bp and the colour scheme that also graces the BP Ultimate Safety Car in the Repco Supercars Championship and previously raced in the Supercars ESeries.
The bp Ultimate Racing livery was a collaborative effort, brought to life by graphic designer Nick Moss, paint partner PPG and Official Signage Partner Ball & Doggett.
South Australian-born driver Scott Pye is eagerly anticipating the first of two rounds this season in his home state and is aiming to convert the team’s recent impressive performance into a dominant force at The Bend Motorsport Park.
Reflecting on the challenge presented by The Bend Motorsport Park during the Gen2 era, Pye remains optimistic about the team’s prospects this time around.
Currently positioned 12th in the championship, Pye is determined to use the OTR SuperSprint as a platform to climb up the rankings.
Pye will hit the track in the #20 bp Ultimate Racing Team 18 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at this weekend’s OTR SuperSprint, with Supercars action kicking off on Saturday August 19.

QUOTES
Scott Pye, driver #20 bp Ultimate Racing Team 18 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
“Having grown up in South Australia, racing at The Bend holds a special place in my heart, and to have bp Ultimate join me on home turf is a dream come true.
“bp have been with me for four years now, we’ve been part of some exciting projects together and to see them step up as major backer on my car is really special. The bp Ultimate Camaro looks sensational and it will be an honour to represent them on track at The Bend.
“The Bend is known as one of the most challenging circuits on the calendar, and with the reduction in aero with the Gen 3 cars it will be an even tougher challenge this year. I’m excited to get there and see what our cars are like and we’ll aim to do adapt as quick as we can with the short, sharp format.”
Amanda Woollard, VP – Marketing, AsPac, BP
“It’s fantastic to combine two of bp’s great commitments – South Australia and Supercars this weekend, especially with a local driver, Scott Pye, on board.”
“bp is committed to providing the best fuels and offers to South Australia, and as the official fuel supplier to the Repco Supercars Championship, we’re really excited to be showing how we’re there for our partners and customers, on the track and off.”
