Team 18 has unveiled a striking new colour scheme for David Reynolds and James Courtney’s Snowy River Racing Chevrolet Camaro, which will make its debut at the 2026 Bathurst 1000 before remaining on the car for the Gold Coast and Sandown rounds.

The Camaro’s traditional teal has been replaced by a vibrant ‘Electric Blue’ to celebrate the launch of Snowy River Caravans’ new 48-volt power technology across its MY27 range.

In a further nod to the new technology, the Snowy River Racing Camaro will switch from its traditional No. 20 to No. 48 for the three-event campaign.

Representing the most significant product update in the company’s history, every MY27 SRH, SRM and SRT model will feature Australian-engineered 48-volt technology developed exclusively for Snowy River Caravans by Australian company BMPRO.

Snowy River’s new 48V branding takes pride of place across the bonnet, doors and roof, complemented by an electric blue, black and white colour scheme.

The new No. 48 livery will be showcased across three of the season’s biggest events, beginning with the Bathurst 1000 before appearing on the streets of Surfers Paradise and at the penultimate round at Sandown.

Reynolds returns to Mount Panorama as the reigning Bathurst 1000 runner-up after narrowly missing victory in a thrilling rain-affected finish. The result was Team 18’s best finish in the Great Race.

The 2017 Bathurst winner will be joined by 2010 Supercars Champion James Courtney, who is contesting his first endurance campaign since retiring from full-time competition.

Courtney has recorded four Bathurst podiums, including one runner-up finish and three third placings. Reynolds has three podiums at Mount Panorama, including his 2017 victory and runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2025.

With a combined 1,131 Supercars race starts and 39 Bathurst 1000 appearances, Reynolds and Courtney will form the most experienced driver combination on the grid for this year’s Great Race.

The pair completed their first endurance event together at The Bend, where an opening-lap incident forced the Snowy River Racing Camaro into the garage for repairs. Despite finishing two laps behind the leaders, the team used the demanding, rain-affected race to refine its procedures ahead of Bathurst.

Reynolds also remains a mathematical chance of qualifying for the Supercars Finals. He heads to Mount Panorama 285 points behind 10th position, with 300 points available across the weekend, meaning victory and other results falling his way could still secure the final place.

The No. 48 Snowy River Racing Chevrolet Camaro will make its first on-track appearance in the electric blue livery when practice begins at Mount Panorama on Thursday, October 8.

The 2026 Bathurst 1000 will be held on Sunday, October 11, with coverage live on the Seven Network, Fox Sports and Kayo.
