2025 Penrite Oil Sandown 500, Event 12 of the Repco Supercars Championship, Sandown, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. 15 Nov, 2025.

DEWALT Racing’s Anton De Pasquale and TRADIE Energy Racing’s David Reynolds are aiming to finish 2025 on a high at the final round of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship at the bp Adelaide Grand Final this weekend, November 27–30.

De Pasquale arrives in Adelaide with strong momentum after his standout Sandown performance, scoring provisional pole and a second-place finish. Although out of Finals contention, he’s determined to end the season on a high and is embracing the challenge of the new Friday sprint race and the 50k cash prize.

Reynolds also heads into the weekend in solid form following his gritty charge from 21st to ninth at Sandown. Adelaide is one of his favourite events and circuits, a place he describes as one of the coolest and best of the year but also one that demands respect, especially with the high-risk, high-reward Turn 8. After crashing there on Friday last season despite having a fast car, he’s motivated to make amends and turn his recent pace into a strong finish in the final round.

This year’s event features a unique three-race format compared to the traditional twin 250km format of years gone past, with a 100km sprint on Friday followed by two 250km races across Saturday and Sunday on the Dunlop Soft Tyre compound.

The weekend begins on Thursday with a single 30-minute practice session at 3:15pm ACDT, before Friday steps up the intensity with Practice 2 at 10:30am followed by a two-part qualifying format setting the grid for the 100km Race 32 at 4:20pm. Saturday features split qualifying and a Top Ten Shootout for Race 33 ahead of the first 250km battle of the weekend at 3:20pm. Sunday follows the same structure for Race 34, with qualifying commencing at 10:00am before the season-ending 250km finale at 3:15pm.

All the action can be viewed live on Channel 7, Fox Sports and Kayo. Check your local guides for further details.

QUOTES

Anton De Pasquale — Driver, #18 DEWALT Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

“Excited to get to Adelaide, last round of the year. It’s one of the best tracks we go to. Race on Friday, which is something new, and a bit of prize money up for grabs, so it’s going to be interesting to see how that pans out and what everyone does, and then also with the Final Four and the championship.

“We have some good momentum coming from Sandown, some really good speed, so looking forward to going well at Adelaide.”

David Reynolds — Driver, #20 TRADIE Energy Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

“It’s not the Adelaide 500 this year, but a 600 for the Grand Final. We’ve got a 100km race and then two 250km races, so a strange sprint race on Friday, which is different.

“I love going to Adelaide, it’s one of the coolest tracks of the year. It’s one of the best events of the year.

“There’s the potential for rain this weekend, which makes it really difficult. It’s one of the hardest tracks in the wet because it’s a street track and there are so many bumps and white lines and kerbs and everything you’ve got to use to make lap speed. Plus there’s Turn 8, which is one of the hardest, fastest and scariest corners of the year.

“Last year our car was very fast and obviously I binned it at Turn 8, and then I wasn’t very good after that, but I think we’re going to have a good weekend based on our performance lately. I’m hoping for a good weekend and I love driving that track. It’s awesome.”
