JAX Tyres & Auto has once again partnered with Supercars champion and 2025 Bathurst 1000 runner-up, David Reynolds, to auction his iconic pink helmet following the 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500. United in their commitment to raising awareness and vital funds for breast cancer research, all proceeds will be donated directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
Following the success of last year’s auction, where Reynolds’ pink helmet raised an impressive $8,800, this year’s initiative aims to surpass that milestone, in order to provide significant funding for breast cancer research. Designed by leading helmet artist Trent Rogers of 6Star Custom Paint, the pink helmet, valued at $8,500, features a D2N Radio Kit for seamless team communication and an integrated cooling fan system to enhance driver comfort during competition.
April Harwood, Chief Franchising Operations Officer at JAX Tyres & Auto, says, “This auction represents a unique opportunity to unite motorsport fans in support of a cause that touches so many lives. The passion behind this mission is truly inspiring, and while last year was a fantastic effort, we’re keen to surpass that total and raise even more for the National Breast Cancer Foundation this year.”
The National Breast Cancer Foundation General Manager Philanthropy and Partnerships, Penny Waitsman says, “The National Breast Cancer Foundation has a single purpose – to fund world-class breast cancer research in Australia and an ambitious and critical vision – Zero Deaths from breast cancer. We are grateful to our corporate partner, JAX Tyres & Auto and, David Reynolds who for the third consecutive year is auctioning his pink helmet to raise funds for breast cancer research.”
David Reynolds says, “It’s a real privilege to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and I can’t thank JAX Tyres & Auto enough for helping bring this together. Every dollar raised takes us one step closer to a future of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.”
“I’m still riding the high from Bathurst, it was unbelievable. To come away with second place was amazing and a true testament to the team. Hopefully, I can carry that momentum into the Gold Coast 500 and bring home a surfboard — all while raising funds for such an important cause”
To further demonstrate its commitment to this important cause, front-of-house team members at all JAX Tyres & Auto stores nationwide will wear pink t-shirts every Friday throughout October, uniting in visible support.
The auction hosted by Lloyds Auctions, will conclude on 27 October, with 100 per cent of the proceeds being donated directly to NBCF – fans and collectors are encouraged to place their bids early to support this important cause.
